What is inspireUX?

inspireUX (www.inspireux.com) is a blog where I post quotes relating to User Experience. Every quote on inspireUX focuses on the impact that user experience has on people, business, or the world.

Role:

User Experience Advocate and Blogger

Accomplishments:

  • I have posted new quotes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday since March 2008, resulting in hundreds of quotes relating to the importance of User Experience.
  • Named by blogs.com as one of the Top 10 User Experience Design Blogs.
  • Built the blog's audience organically to over 2,800 subscribers via RSS and email subscriptions.
  • Created a quote format that encourages sharing within organizations and within forms of social media (other blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
  • Created connections between other User Experience practitioners through citing their work in blog posts.
  • Engaged in a partnership with Balsamiq Mockups, a popular design mockup tool. inspireUX is linked to from the program's "Help" menu and quotes are sprinkled throughout other elements of the interface.
