Vanguard
During my first two years at Vanguard, I was a member of the Technology Leadership Program in which I completed rotations in Business Strategy, Information Architecture, and Usability Engineering. Following the Technology Leadership Program, I moved into a role as an Information Architect for Vanguard's Institutional Retirement Plan Services group.
inspireUX
Since March 2008, I have regularly blogged as a User Experience Advocate for inspireUX, a blog I created to post quotes to inspire User Experience Designers. InspireUX has over 2,000 subscribers and has been named by blogs.com as one of the top 10 UX Design blogs.
FanGamb
Since June 2009, I have consulted for FanGamb.com, a new social game startup. As an Information Architect and a User Experience Designer, I helped to refine the site's strategy and functionality by providing UX guidance. I created wireframes, navigation diagrams, and analyzed site usage.
GE Asset Management
In the summer of 2006, I interened at GE Asset Management through GE's Information Management Leadership Program Internship. As a Project Manager and Business Analyst, I oversaw the development of several internal projects by acting as a liason between the business and IT.
AccuWeather
During the summer of 2005, I interned with AccuWeather's New Media Department in State College, Pennsylvania. As a New Media Programmer, I aided in the design and development in an online photo gallery for weather photographs, and other weather-related projects.
